EBC was established in June 2008 by Efrem Bovo.

His twenty-year experience started in 1989, working for the newspaper Avvenire. Registered to the national journalist association from 1995, from 1994 to 1997 he was PR manager for the Councilor responsible for Culture – Region of Piedmont. Since 1997 he was managing director and vice-president for the SEC group – Relazioni Pubbliche ed Istituzionali – of Turin.

He came back in 2008 to his hometown, Alessandria, still keeping his national engagements: he has been a member of the board of directors in ANS – Associazione Nazionale Sociologi - where he was chairman for the Region of Piedmont, from 2004 to 2009, Director of LISS Italian Laboratory of Sociology in Rome in 2009 and President of the Piedmont Department of Ferpi in the period from 2003 to 2008.
